It’s not right, but it’s okay;
Wrongness just as night in day.
Life perspectives buried deep,
Stupid, greedy, left to steep.

Orwell’s nightmares walk the streets
Hidden under neon sheets,
As Bradbury and Huxley wail,
Those few humans standing pale.

Disbelief is not a fight,
Nor can anger flex its might.
Masses, hordes, from all around
Stampede what’s human to the ground.

Creatures form Sisyphus’ stone
On television, telephone,
Internet, radio, and print;
Cruelty tele-omniscient.

Fuck it.

Ignite.

We’re done.

Conversations lead to anger.

People are annoying.

EDIT: Ugh. I just read this through again and... well, it was written in a moment of diluted passion, and... ugh. I don't like it. It's just... not... potent enough. It sounds like something a grade 7 resource English student would write. Eurghhhhh

I'm actually not that fond of it... though I do need to write something on this subject... only... good...
:iconjekh:

I really need to start drawing again...
I've been like.. not drawing.
Well I doodle.
School has me busy.
We had to read Great Expectations.
And now we are reading Things Fall Apart.
We start St Joan tomorrow.

Chenua Achebe? that's on my list of things to read in the distant, distant future. Sposed to be good...
:iconneonfishy:
I dunno, for the most part it's actually pretty good. Just not your normal submission-type-stuff.

Chinua Achebe is amazing to be honest. I just finished writing a paper (on theme) on one of his short stories, Dead Men's Path. Very good. Things Fall Apart was an amazing book, and I strongly recommend it, make it higher up on your list of things to read. :P Now I have a list of books that Jeff's making me go through. xD

I have IB things first. Then books I'm still "reading." *sigh*

Right now, it's one about a 52-year-old's sex life.
:iconestranged-thespian:
my normal think-it's-shit-and-burn-the-fucker-type-stuff. But hey, I need something to submit.
:iconjekh:
Uhm. Wow. Sounds really interesting *Coughs*
In English class today we watched this really sweet documentary on the witch burnings and the inquisition.
My marks are holding up so far in Pre-Ib... 92% in French and Bio and an 86% in Math.. I have no idea as to what my English mark is.
So how have you been?
